Before private instruction, Igor spent years training commercial truck and bus drivers - work where a small misjudgment has serious consequences. That's the standard he holds his students to.
It shows up in the ordinary things: mirror and blind-spot habits, how much space you leave, deciding early instead of reacting late.
Nervous students
“You're ready for the parking. We practised enough.”
Students panic before the test. Igor's approach is to talk them down with specifics rather than reassurance: you're ready for the parking, you're ready for the three-point turn, you're ready for the lane change, we've done the intersections many times.
There's usually twenty minutes before the examiner comes out. Igor spends them talking. Sometimes he tells a story and gets the student laughing, and after that it's much easier to go.

G2 Road Test Prep
Parallel parking, three-point turns, roadside stops, lane changes and intersection judgment around the Newmarket test centre.

Full G Road Test Prep
Highway entry, merging, lane changes at speed and exits on Hwy 404 - the part of the test most drivers are least prepared for.

Beginner Driver Education
The full Ministry-approved course. Shortens the G1 waiting period from 12 months to 8 and qualifies you for insurance discounts.
